Ecotone East River boat tour

On Saturday July 26, Barbara Wilks presented "The Edge" in Williamsburg in the ASLA Ecotone boat tour. About 50 participants heard the latest about many current waterfront projects on the East River (on both the Manhattan and Brooklyn sides) including "The Edge", the Brooklyn Waterfront Park, Hunter's Point, and others. It's clear that the East River waterfront is quickly changing from a inaccessible industrial landscape to a pedestrian-friendly and increasingly environmentally sensitive one.
