W Architecture and Landscape Architecture is a collaborative studio. Collaboration begins early in the design process to allow for the integration of ideas, enriching the experience of the place.
Collaboration with the Community
For a project to succeed, the community must not only support it, it must feel some ownership of it. Our design team works to establish a dialogue with the community and gain its trust. Our role in community meetings is to identify, discuss and ultimately resolve community concerns, as well as to excite the imagination and build momentum for the project.
Collaboration within the Design Team
This philosophy of collaboration extends to the team we assemble for each project. We enjoy working with professionals in various disciplines including artists, engineers, and other design professionals who bring different ways of seeing places and programs.
